Citation: At a critical moment he brought up two regiments, which he led against the enemy himself, being severely wounded.

HAIGHT, SIDNEY

Place and dare: At Petersburg, Virginia, 30 July 1864.
Entered service at: Goodland, Michigan
Born: 1846, Reading, Michigan
Date of issue. 31 July 1896.
Citation: Instead of retreating, remained in the captured works, regardless of his personal safety and exposed to the firing, which he boldly and deliberately returned until the enemy was close upon him.

THATCHER, CHARLES M

Citation: Instead of retreating or surrendering when the works were captured, regardless of his personal saftey continued to return the enemy fire till he was captured.
